ABOUT US
Samuel King, originally from Richmond, Virginia, has been in Pastoral Ministry for over 30 years. A graduate from Elon University, Sam's first calling was teaching and coaching young talent in the Public School system. Sam and his wife, Judith, surrendered to the Call and moved their young family West to Texas, where Sam earned a Master’s degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sam and Judy founded Walking in the Word Ministries in 2007. Sam and Judy have three adult children and six grandchildren. Sam is an avid reader, lifelong Yankees fan, and his next big travel adventure is Scotland and the British Isles.

Judith Robinson King grew up in the city of Richmond. She attended UNC-Greensboro and married Sam soon after. Judy spent her professional career in Administration & Finance - in both the healthcare system and in church offices across the country. She and Sam are the founders of Walking in the Word Ministries, Inc. They are blessed with three successful adult children and six beautiful grandchildren. Judy enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and cheering on BAMA with her family.
